My Background

I’ve traveled nearly half the globe and missed out on SO many unbelievable great shots. TOO many. I finally said, “No more”, and vowed to improve, and catch those moments. I enjoy landscape / nature photography, pets and wildlife.. Sometimes I photograph people. I have photographed many different subjects, scenes, and moments.

Photography as Communication

Not all photos are idyllic landscapes or cute puppies, often photos must convey or document information, factually. Storm damage photos, construction progress photos and airbnb photos are what I call functional photos.
